Game photos: Stingers, Eagles and Polars

We've posted photos from 3 games so far this season. As usual you can view them by entering the password "mnhockey" when requested. You can also order prints from this web site, save a full resolution version of any image to your local computer, and add comments (such as the name(s) of your favorite players!).

We’ve created a set of pages with tips for coaches and volunteers. We hope to collect tips and best practices from all our teams and from other special hockey organizations.

Hockey Mom getaways and help for MN Hockey from Red Baron Pizza

Do you know a hockey mom that goes above and beyond?  To recognize the hard work of hockey moms, the makers of Red Baron® pizza are proud to sponsor the seventh annual Salute to Hockey Moms. Players, families, and friends can nominate their favorite hockey mom with an essay of 150 words or fewer. Entry forms are available at the Red Baron® pizza freezer case in participating Cub Foods stores, or at www.redbaron.com.

Ten winning moms will be rewarded with great prizes including a $1,000 contribution to their child’s hockey association, a refreshing spa visit, a $50 Cub Foods gift card, and more — plus they’ll be introduced during intermission of the Red Baron™ WCHA Final Five Championship Game on March 21, 2009 at the Xcel Energy Center where one mom will win a relaxation getaway.

Practice drill ideas from Special Olympics Floor Hockey

Special Olympics floor hockey has a superb web site of drills that can be adapted for use in Special Hockey.

This older (stingers/polars) flyer shows what the gear looks like and helps with sizing, but don't use it for ordering.
