Buying photos and the end of year game and pizza party on March 25th

Team and individual photos will be available for ordering at the game this Sunday. I haven't heard officially, but I suspect we'll need to write a check at that time. Orders will be delivered around the end of season game.

The end of season game will be March 25th at The Breck Arena, 4210 Olson Memorial Hwy, Golden Valley, MN 55422 from 2:30 - 4:00 pm. The pizza party will follow the game at the same location. The arena is on the north side of Hwy 55 by the Humane Society (you can see it in the satellite image if you click the link). Bring your friends, your neighbors and your camera for an exciting game and thrilling party!

Weather and other updates: how to manage them

Coach Rick will call Stinger players if there's a weather related schedule change. I will also post information on this blog (news.mnspecialhockey.org); if there are no known changes I'll mention that as well.

Practice only today - Feb 25.

News as of 10:25am: No game, but a practice. Jane will be there.

I checked the traffic cams: the highways are good. I wonder about Bush Lake Road though.

MN Special Hockey on Edina's local cable

MN Special Hockey is on Edina's local cable channel. Per Susie (with some edits):

MN Special Hockey will be on Edina Cable Channel 16 --- "In Edina," a new half-hour video magazine, airs 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays, 7 p.m. Wednesdays, 5 p.m. Fridays, noon Saturdays and noon Sundays...

It took a while to start, but the video clip did run on my Mac. It should work on any Windows machine. The production values are pretty good, with a nice set of video clips from our first game. I learned a bit about our funding; I hadn't realized than MN Made donated their ice to us...
